Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has accused former ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston of allegedly stealing the plot of her comeback movie.
After focusing on her music career and motherhood, Lopez is making a comeback with ‘Plan B’, about a woman trying to get pregnant. But she is angry with the fact that Aniston stole her idea to star in an almost identical movie called ‘The Baster’, reports the Dailymail online.
An unlikely feud is simmering between the two actresses as Lopez is also said to fear that Aniston’s movie could eclipse her film.
‘The last thing J-Lo (Lopez) wants is to have Aniston overshadow her. There’s been some mud-slinging, with J-Lo claiming Jen (Aniston) took her idea,’ said a source.

‘Asal’ in the combination of Saran-Ajith had its shoot in Malaysia and Paris. Last week the team had its shoot done in a posh apartment in Raja Annamalipuram for three days. Interestingly, the apartment was decorated with the same interior as Ajith’s own house.
The latest location in which the shoot is going on is, Mohan Studios in Saligramam. We hear from the sources that a set which is used as Ajith’s office is erected with a very stylish and hi-fi outlook.
‘Asal’ is out-and-out a commercial flick which has a fast paced screenplay. When asked about the film, the director confidently said, “We are taking care of every minute detail that we can and seeing to that every scene has some interesting stuff. So the whole team is so sure that we will be giving a hit with ‘Asal’ and without doubt ‘Asal’ will be out for Pongal.”
As AVM is considered to be the director’s lucky place, the last schedule of ‘Asal’s shoot is planned to be done in AVM. Saran guaranteed that ‘Asal’ will be a great feast to Ajith fans!

Kurbaan gets (A) Certificate
Sizzling scenes between actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and extreme violence in their forthcoming Kurbaan will now restrict its viewing to adults only.
The Censor Board has given an A (adult) certificate to the Rensil De Silva’s maiden directorial venture as he made the actors – Saif and Kareena – write their love story with blood on 70mm screen.
The love story is set at the backdrop of terrorism and according to the Censor Board its violent scenes were meant for adult viewing only. Kurbaan releases on Novemeber 20.
Although Kurbaan is getting a lot of attention for the lovemaking scenes in the film, Bebo explained there was certainly more to story than just Saifeena.
“The film has a lot more to offer than just intimate scenes. It’s a gritty and emotionally rich film. The shot of me posing backless and Saif with a wound on his chest tells so much about the film’s theme. But people are talking about the scene because it’s Saif and me,” she explains.

American actress Jessica Biel has revealed that she would love to return to singing. Biel, 27, also revealed that she would like nothing better than to add her singing talent into her acting.
“I definitely want to do it again, I’ve been dabbling here and there but I would really like to do Broadway or a movie musical, that would be a huge dream come true,” Fox News quoted her as saying.

Lead author John M. Violanti, PhD, research associate professor in UB’s Department of Social and Preventive Medicine in the School of Public Health and Health Professions found that the permutation can contribute to the development of the metabolic syndrome, a combination of unhealthful factors among police officers.

The study showed that overall, 30 percent of officers working the night shift had metabolic syndrome, compared to 21 percent in the National Health and Nutritional Examination Survey (NHANES III).
Violanti also said: “One potential explanation for this unusual finding is that midnight-shift officers were most likely to be sleep deprived because of difficulties associated with day sleeping. Sleep debt has been shown to have a harmful impact on carbohydrate metabolism and endocrine function, which could contribute to metabolic disorders.”
In addition, officers who worked midnight shifts and had less than six hours sleep had a significantly higher average of metabolic-syndrome components than those who worked day shifts.

2012 Collectes Rs.19 Crore in opening weekend
Hollywood filmmaker Roland Emmerich’s disaster epic “2012″, released Friday, has grossed over Rs.19 crore in its opening weekend in India.
Inspired by the idea of a global doomsday coinciding with the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar’s current cycle on Dec 21, 2012, the film released simultaneously in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across 715 screens with 676 prints.
“The film has performed exceedingly well in both metros as well as smaller centres appealing to a large range of audiences, including families who are drawn to the personal family storyline,” Kercy Daruwala, managing director of Sony Pictures India said in a statement Tuesday.
“It looks unbeatable for the coming weeks in the wake of sustained marketing and strong word-of-mouth. The film has shown high potential for repeat viewing,” he added.
Distributed worldwide by Columbia Pictures, the movie has an ensemble cast that includes John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jimi Mistry and Woody Harrelson.
Earlier Hollywood movies to have touched the mark are “Spider-Man 3″ and “Quantum of Solace” that made Rs.19.17 crore and Rs.17 crore respectively in their opening weekend here.
